Education Workshops are Now Available for Spring 2023!
Our SEA LIFE workshops provide a unique opportunity to honor, help protect, and conserve our world’s shared oceans.
Our workshops have a cross-curricular approach, with particular focus on:
- Science (Adaption, Inheritance, Evolution and Variation, Biological Processes, Marine Wildlife, Welfare and Conservation)
- Geography (Oceans Around The World, Ocean Habitats, Human Impact on the Ocean)
- Literacy (Comprehension and Inference, Reading, Creative Writing Inspired by Wildlife)

Homes in the Sea
Pre-k & Kindergarten
Visit creatures at home in the sea! Dive in to explore the fascinating and diverse habitats in our world’s oceans and the animals that call them home! Students will discuss what we as humans need to survive, how animals and all living things have similar needs, and what makes the perfect underwater home for some of the world’s most amazing creatures!

Sea Creatures
1st - 5th Grade
Invite students to learn about some of our core SEA LIFE creatures! As they dive into the worlds of sharks, jellyfish, and seahorses, students will think about the importance of animal welfare and use core aquarium standards to create their own creature tanks!

Sea Defenders
3rd - 5th Grade
Invite students to become Sea Defenders! They will investigate why it is important to protect our oceans and how their daily actions can impact marine environments. Students will be inspired to make changes in their lifestyle and actively contribute toward solutions.

Habitat Explorers
6th - 8th Grade
Invite students to become Habitat Explorers as they dive deep into the ocean habitats of some of our SEA LIFE creatures! Thinking about habitats and adaptation, students will consider the challenges of different micro-habitats in the ocean, matching creatures and their adaptations to the different zones that they discover, and eventually creating their very own sea creatures!

SEA LIFE Careers
9th - 12th Grade
Invite students to consider a career at SEA LIFE! They will explore the diverse range of job roles within SEA LIFE and the skills required for each of them, considering what it takes to become part of our incredible team and the types of challenges that employees face on a daily basis. Students will be encouraged to think about both their short-term and long-term goals for the future; they will be inspired to make the most of their skills in order to follow their dreams!

Teacher Resources
FIN-TASTIC Brand NEW for the 2021-22 School Year! (temporarily Unavailable)
We are excited to bring to you a brand new mini classroom teaching unit that introduces elementary school students to focus on what is "Beneath the Tide" and allows students to explore coastal habitats! We also have great self-guided activities for students to do during their field trips.
*Please note, at this time we are not currently offering education workshops. These new resources were designed with you in mind to help add additional educational content before, during and after your visit. We hope to relaunch on-site workshops in the future!
